As someone who lives up the highway in the neighbouring city of Newcastle, we decided to take a break from the daily grind and indulge in a week of luxury in Australia’s big city. As a treat we ventured into Sydney’s most luxurious hotels, sampled world-class dining, ate of way through Sydneys authentic Asian street food scene and experienced the exciting activities that have earned Sydney a place on the global travel map.

In a previous occupation I had the pleasure of sailing in and out of Sydney harbour multiple times and to this day I unbiasedly still think it ranks as the best harbour on the planet with multiple venues located in perfect positions to cater for those spoil yourself breaks, From rooftop pools with stunning skyline views to Michelin-starred restaurants, this trip was all about exploring Sydney at its finest and uncovering what makes it one of the best city destinations in the world.

We spent our days soaking up Sydney’s cultural highlights and our evenings dining in style. Sydney’s vibe is both laid-back and exciting—a city that can satisfy the needs of both thrill-seekers and those looking for ultimate relaxation.

You could actually spent months just venturing from cove to cove seeking out new and different parts of the harbour.
